OUR STORY

Light Power Health is a UK-based, self-funded startup born from a passion for innovation and wellness. The company grew out of Planet Lighting Ltd, a trusted name in custom lighting solutions led by Stephen Allen. With over 30 years of experience across technology-focused businesses, Stephen has a talent for bringing innovative products to market.

In early 2020, Eyepower was launched as a division of Planet Lighting with one goal: to create a simple, mass-market product that allows people to benefit from the latest research on the effects of deep red light on long-term eye health. Working closely with leading academics and industry experts in red light therapy, Eyepower successfully launched its first product in June 2022. Within six months, over 2,500 units were sold worldwide.

In September 2023, Eyepower became a fully independent company, Light Power Health Ltd, focused on advancing personal wellness through science-backed light therapy. Today, Light Power Health continues to support research and develop a growing range of deep red and near-infrared products designed to enhance everyday wellbeing.
